Racing at Stanley Pool Our principal sailing day is Sunday, when several races are held during the afternoon, but members can use the club facilities on any day.

Wednesday evenings see many members racing, but other evenings and Saturdays find members learning and practising their sailing.

Four main classes of boat are sailed: Enterprise, GP14, Laser and Solo, but other classes of boat are welcome in the Menagerie Class.

A glance at the Racing programme reveals that there are various types of races and a number of trophies can be won.

Racing is available all year. The main programme lasts from Easter to the end of October, with a Frostbite Series for the enthusiast until Christmas, followed by a Snowflake Series.
